Birdlife of the Barycz Valley — morning walk with an ornithologist
Stawno 1, Stawno
Ornithological walk with Zuza Pestka: autumn bird migration on the Milicz Ponds. Small group (approx. 10 participants), binoculars and a spotting scope available on site.
About the event
In autumn, birds stop at the Milicz Ponds on their way to wintering grounds, and the lowered water levels reveal rich feeding areas. During this walk in a small group (approx. 10 people), we observe birds through binoculars and a spotting scope, and discover, among other things, why and where birds migrate.
On each date there are two tour options: starting at 8:00 or 10:30 (choose your time when purchasing the ticket). The walk lasts around 1.5 hours and requires a minimum of 6 participants.
Bring your own binoculars if you have them — there are some to borrow on site. Part of the "Carp Days in the Barycz Valley 2026" programme; tickets at sklep.barycz.pl.
