17th Interprovincial Horse-Drawn Ploughing Competition, 9th Pumpkin Festival and 'Polish Pork' picnic — an autumn event for the whole family.
About the event
For the seventeenth time, Piękocin becomes the capital of horse ploughing and pumpkins. Ploughmen from Lower Silesia (Dolny Śląsk) and Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) compete in the 17th Interprovincial Horse-Drawn Ploughing Contest, alongside the 9th Pumpkin Festival combined with the 'Polish Pork' picnic.
Programme:
• from 13:30 — competition between ploughmen from Lower Silesia and Greater Poland
• 15:00–17:00 — meeting with alpacas
• 15:30 — performance by the Fokus Theatre Group
• from 18:30 — dance party with a DJ
Throughout the day: inflatables and activities for children, skill competitions, rides, display of Piękocin pumpkins (photo zone), tastings, kettle soups, Piękocin Women's Association stand, handicrafts and stalls, food zone.
Under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
