About

The Bauble Museum (Muzeum Bombki) opened in 2013 in the Creative Multifunctional Facility (KOM) at ul. Dąbrowskiego 3, housed in the renovated buildings of a former glass Christmas-ornament factory. The plant operated from the 1950s until 2008 and was one of Poland's largest bauble manufacturers; most of its output was exported, and its clients reportedly included Walt Disney's company.

The display features around 6,000 baubles from the factory's pattern room – one of every design, from classic balls to animals and fairy-tale characters. The illuminated cases are especially magical in winter. KOM also runs a workshop where you can decorate your own Lower Silesian bauble, plus a café, a tourist information point and a gallery dedicated to “Druh Bolek”, a much-loved local scout leader.

An audio-guided visit takes about 45 minutes. Hours for individual visitors: Mon–Fri 9:00–15:00, Sun 11:00–17:00, closed on Saturdays; tickets: standard 20 PLN, reduced 15 PLN, under-3s free (as of Oct 2026). Groups by prior arrangement. The site is right on the cycle path and is wheelchair accessible.
