About
Piekarnia Milicka has been baking since the 1960s and still makes its bread by hand, on natural rye sourdough, in a large three-chamber ceramic oven, with no improvers or raising agents. The signature loaves are Sandomierz bread, country bread and Zakopane bread (with poppy and sesame seeds), plus the large Zakopane crescent roll, the wyborowy crescent roll and the plain bread roll — similar ingredients, but each is made differently and tastes different.
You can buy the bread at the company shop on ul. Kościuszki 11 in Milicz, as well as in many shops in Milicz and nearby villages, and in Trzebnica and Wrocław. The bakery itself is at ul. Wojska Polskiego 56. The company shop's opening hours are not published in the producer's sources.
Data from the producer's official sources, as of October 2026.
