About
Barbara and Piotr Rutkowski have kept bees for more than 20 years and now have around 60 hives in the Trzebnica and Wołów districts and near Zielona Góra. They produce rapeseed, acacia, buckwheat, wildflower, goldenrod and lime honey, as well as bee pollen, propolis, hazelnuts and walnuts in honey, and beeswax candles. The apiary is under regular veterinary supervision and the owners belong to the Polish Beekeepers' Association.
Honey comes in 0.9 l and 0.315 l glass jars while stocks last, and you can taste the products before buying. No sales hours are published, so ring ahead to arrange collection before driving to Ruda Żmigrodzka (ul. Bielika 14).
