About
The Przerwa family planted their first vines in Krośnice in 2014 and now have over 2 hectares on the slopes of the Krośnice Hills in the Barycz Valley Landscape Park. Their own hand-picked grapes become dry whites (Solaris, Johanniter, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir) and reds (Rondo, Regent, Cabernet Cortis, Pinot Noir) made without added sugar or additives, plus a traditional-method sparkling brut and a cider from the farm's apples. The wines have won awards at events including the Cheese and Wine Festival in Wrocław.
Wine and cider can be bought at the vineyard (cards accepted) or ordered by email or phone for courier delivery; there is no online shop. The new winery seats 50 and hosts tastings of five wines with a tour of the vineyard (about two hours), by prior arrangement only. You can also try the wines in Barycz Valley restaurants such as Gospoda 8 Ryb and the Karczma Rybna in Ruda Żmigrodzka. The farm also has guest rooms.
